Asian Club League Handball C’ship: Mes Defeats Al-Wehda of S. Arabia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Mes Kerman defeated Al-Wehda of Saudi Arabia 32-25 in the 2020 Asian Men's Club League Handball Championship on Monday.
The Iranian representative will play AGMK Club of Uzbekistan in Group B on Wednesday.
Shahid Kazeroon meanwhile suffered its third loss in a row in Group A. The Iranian team was defeated against Bahrain’s Al-Najma SC 30-23.
Shahid Kazeroon will play Al-Arabi SC of Qatar on Thursday.
The 2020 Asian Club League Handball Championship is being held from June 12 to 21 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation.
The competition acts as the qualification tournament for the 2021 IHF Super Globe, with top team from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be held in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
