Atasehir Completes Signing of Iran’s Samira Mohammadi
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian woman goalkeeper Samira Mohammadi joined Turkish top-flight football team Atasehir Belediyespor.
Mohammadi has penned a two-year contract with Atasehir for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper most recently played for Sepahan. She has also played in Iranian football clubs Malavan and Hamyari.
The Turkish sports club is known for its women's football team that won the Turkish League championship in 2011. It defended its title successfully in 2012.
