Syria Can Achieve Good Results in World Cup Qualifiers: Muhannad Alfakeer
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Syria football coach Muhannad Alfakeer hoped that they would achieve good results in the 2022 World Cup qualification Round 3.
Syria is pitted against Iran, Suth Korea, Iraq, the UAE and Lebanon in Group A.
“Of course there isn’t enough time to prepare the team as we don’t know who will be appointed the head coach of Syria,” Alfakeer said.
“The only thing we can do is to organize the team that we have and start analyzing our opponents in the group. We also will work closely with the players, identifying their capabilities in order to succeed,” he stated.
“Every tournament has different conditions. Of course it was fantastic the last time we played in the Qualifiers and we will do our best to reach as far as we can. We believe we can achieve a positive result in this final round,” Alfakeer added.
