The tournament is being held in the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe from July 3 to 7 in a round-robin format.
“The match against Afghanistan is over and from now on we concentrate on our next match against Uzbekistan,” Iran coach Shadi Mahini said.
The 2021 CAFA U17 Women Championship is the first edition of the tournament at this age level.
Iran will play Uzbekistan on Monday.
Mahini’s girls are to play Tajikistan on Wednesday.
