Iran Victorious over Mali at FIBA U-19 Basketball World Cup

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Mali 71-59 at the 9–16th place quarterfinals of the FIBA U-19 Basketball World Cup on Friday.

Sports

Malian Oumar Ballo grabbed 17 points and Iran’s Parsa Fallah scored 21 points.

The Iranian team will face winner of Japan and Turkey match at the 9–12th place semifinals on Saturday.

The tournament is being hosted in Riga and Daugavpils, Latvia from July 3 to 11.
