The Iranian team lost 84-61 to its neighbor at the Olympic Sports Center in Riga, Latvia.

Iran will meet Latvia on Sunday in the 11th place classification.

The Asian team has lost to Serbia, Latvia, Lithuania and Turkey so far and defeated Puerto Rico and Mali.

The tournament is being hosted in Riga and Daugavpils, Latvia from July 3 to 11.
