Iran Wins Four Medals at World Cadet Wrestling C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian freestyle wrestlers claimed four medals at the World Cadet Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Ali Khorramdel defeated Uzbekistan’s Nodirbek Jumanazarov 2-0 in the final match of 51kg.
Seyed Ehsan Esmaeilnezhad claimed the gold in the 71kg bout, beating Akhmed Musaev from Russia 3-1.
Amir Reza Masoumi defeated American James Anthony Mullen 10-0 in the final match of the 110kg and took Iran’s third gold medal.
Ali Abbas Rezaei beat Dyanko Petrov Dyankov from Bulgaria 10-0 in the 65kg bronze-medal match.
India was crowned with 147 points, followed by USA (143) and Russia (140).
Iran came fourth with 116 points.
