Persepolis Forward Mehdikhani Misses Istiklol Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team forward Mehdi Mehdikhani will miss the match against Tajikistan’s Istiklol due to a hand injury.
He suffered a forearm injury in the training in Dushanbe.
Persepolis is scheduled to meet Istiklol on Tuesday in Round of 16 of the 2021 AFC Champions League.
Mehdikhani must undergo surgery in Tehran and will be sidelined for four weeks.
