Iran Loses to Belgium at 2021 FIVB U-21 World C’ship Opener
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Belgium 3-2 (25–20, 25–23, 26–28, 26–28, 15–8) in its opening match of the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men's U-21 World Championship on Thursday.
Behrouz Ataei’s boys will meet Argentina on Friday and play Morocco on Saturday in Group C.
The 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men's U-21 World Championship, contested by the men's national teams under the age of 21 of the members of the FIVB, is being held in Italy and Bulgaria from 23 September to 3 October 2021.
Iran is the competition’s defending champion.
