Iran to Play Canada for 2021 FIVB U-21 World C’ship Ninth Place
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Cuba 3-1 (25–15, 25–19, 17–25, 25–23) in the 9th–12th semifinals of the 2021 FIVB Men's U-21 World Championship on Saturday.
Iran is scheduled to meet Canada for the ninth place on Sunday.
The 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men's U-21 World Championship is being contested by the men's national teams under the age of 21 of the members of the FIVB.
Iran is the competition’s defending champion.
The tournament is being held in Italy and Bulgaria from September 23 to October 3.
