Iranian Commander: None of Border Crossings Closed

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – All border crossings between Iran and the neighbors are open and operating normally, Border Police Commander Brigadier General Ahmad Ali Goodarzi said.

The Iranian Border Police chief said on Saturday that the trade exchanges and economic interaction with the neighboring states are going on normally.

“None of the border crossings and terminals (in Iran) is closed,” General Goodarzi added.

He also warned hostile groups stationed outside the Iranian border that any wrong move will draw harsh reaction from the Iranian border guards.

Highlighting the full security that prevails along the frontiers of Iran, the general said it is a glory that Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has described the Police as a sturdy pillar of security.
