AFC Lauds Iran’s Women Midfielder Afsaneh Chatrenoor

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The-afc.com praised Iran’s women’s football team midfielder Afsaneh Chatrenoor ahead of 2021 AFC Women’s Club Championship.

Iran will start the campaign on Sunday with a match against Bunyodkor of Uzbekistan.

Shahrdari Sirjan finished ahead of seven-time champion Bam Khatoon Football Club to clinch the Kowsar Women Football League title for the first time.

The club was impressive throughout the league campaign, scoring goals for fun en route to lifting the title.

Boosted by their domestic form, Maryam Jahan Nejati’s side is confident of adding the 2021 AFC Women’s Club Championship title to their trophy cabinet.

Among the players to shine for Shahrdari Sirjan in the league campaign was Afsaneh Chatrenoor, who alongside Melika Motevali and Shabnam Bahesht, will lead their charge in Jordan.

Chatrenoor has been a regular feature for Shahrdari Sirjan as well as the Iran national team, the-afc.com wrote.
