Iran Boxing Team Suffers Third Loss in Armenia Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran boxing team lost to Ukraine in the International Team Boxing Tournament in Armenia.
Iran started the campaign with a loss against Armenia and then lost to Georgia in its second match.
Alireza Estaki's men also suffered another defeat against Ukraine in the event in the Yerevan’s Dinamo Sports Complex.
The Russian boxing team was supposed to participate in the tournament but withdrew from the competition.
Iran took part in the competition as part of preparation for the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
