US Culpable for Any Insecurity around World: Iranian General
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A senior spokesman for the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces denounced the US as the biggest state sponsor of terrorism which has a role in every case of insecurity across the globe.
“No (case of) insecurity would happen in the world without the US being involved in it,” Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said in comments at a cultural ceremony in Kerman on Tuesday.
He also noted that the criminal US regime displayed its true face as the biggest state sponsor of terrorism by assassinating top Iranian commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani blatantly.
The US is the major country fostering terrorists and plundering the assets of the oppressed people in the world, Shekarchi stated.
In remarks in 2017, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei had described the US as the cause of instability in the Middle East, dismissing any chance of reconciliation with the US administration which has been “founded upon terrorism” and opposes the essence of the Islamic Republic.
