Iran Discovers Fate at 2022 Asian Women's Junior Handball C’ship


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran discovered its fate at the 2022 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship.

Iran has been drawn in Group B along with Kazakhstan, Kuwait and Chinese Taipei.

Group A consists of Uzbekistan, India, Syria and South Korea.

The 2022 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship will be the 16th edition of the competition, scheduled for February 13 to 22, under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation.

Previously the championship was scheduled to be held in Uzbekistan, but in December 2021, AHF decided to move the event to Kazakhstan due to unavoidable circumstances.

It also acts as the qualification tournament for the 2022 Women's Junior World Handball Championship, with the top three teams of the tournament directly qualifying for the event to be held in Slovenia.
