2022 WCQ: Australian Beath to Referee Iran v Iraq Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Christopher James Beath will officiate the match between Iran and Iraq football teams in the 2022 World Cup qualifier.
The match has been scheduled for Thursday in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Ashley Beecham and Anton Shchetinin will assist Beath in this match.
Beath, who was added to the FIFA International Referees List in 2011, was appointed to the Brazil vs Spain Gold Medal Match at the COVID delayed 2020 Summer Olympics.
Team Melli will qualify for the FIFA World Cup for the third time in a row with a win over Iraq.
