Esteghlal into Iran’s Hazfi Cup Quarters
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team advanced to quarterfinals round of Iran’s Hazfi Cup on Tuesday.
The Blues defeated Paykan in Tehran’s Dastgerdi Stadium thanks to Arsalan Motahari’s goal in the 92nd minute.
Persepolis, Nassaji, Mes Rafsanjan, Khalij Fars Mahshahr, Aluminum, Kheybar Khoramabad and Mes Kerman have previously booked their berth in the stage.
Esteghlal football team is the most decorated club with seven titles, followed by Persepolis with six titles.
