Iran’s Sabre Team Runner-Up at 2022 AJCFC
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s sabre team finished in second place at the 2022 Asian Junior and Cadets Fencing Championship (AJCFC).
Iran, headed by Mojtaba Abedini, started the campaign with a 45-27 win over India in the first stage.
Iran also emerged victorious over Kuwait 45-39 in the semifinal.
The Persians lost to Uzbekistan 45-32 in the final match.
The competition started on February 24 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and will finish on February 27.
