Speaking to reporters after unveiling two cavernous military bases accommodating missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles on Saturday, Major General Salami said what the Islamic Republic has relied upon is not arms, but faith, determination and persistence.

Nevertheless, Iran, by God’s grace, is in possession of sufficient amount of efficient weapons developed with homegrown technologies, the commander noted.

Praising the IRGC Aerospace Force for advancing the strategy of deterrent defense, Major General Salami referred to the homegrown missiles, drones, air defense systems, aircraft and vessels as a manifestation of the country’s power.

The subterranean bases unveiled today accommodate ground-to-ground missile systems with new advanced equipment as well as assault drones capable of penetrating into the enemy’s radar and air defense networks.
