The Iranian team will start the campaign on Tuesday with a match against Kazakhstan.
Iran had originally been scheduled to open the competition on Monday with Uzbekistan but the fixture was changed.
The 2022 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship will bring five teams namely, Kazakhstan, Iran, India, Uzbekistan and Thailand together in Almaty, Kazakhstan from March 7 to 14.
The competition will be the 16th edition of the championship under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation.
It also acts as the qualification tournament for the 2022 Women's Junior World Handball Championship, with top two teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be held in Slovenia.
