Iran’s FM Travels to Lebanon after Visiting Syria

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Foreign Minister of Iran Hossein Amirabdollahian has left Syria for Lebanon as part of a regional tour that includes high-profile meetings.

Heading a high-ranking diplomatic delegation, the Iranian foreign minister left Damascus for Beirut on Thursday.

The top Iranian diplomat is going to hold meetings with senior Lebanese authorities during his stay in Beirut.

Amirabdollahian arrived in Damascus on Wednesday and held meetings with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad, and National Security Advisor Ali Mamluk about various issues, such as Tehran-Damascus cooperation as well as the regional and international developments.
