Iran U-23 Football Team Downs Nassaji in Friendly

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran's U-23 national football team defeated Nassaji 5-2 in a friendly match on Sunday.

Sports

The friendly was held as part of preparation for the 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup.

Mehdi Mahdavikia's team will also play Persepolis on Thursday.

The Iranian team has been drawn in Group A along with host Uzbekistan, Qatar and Turkmenistan.
