Sepahan Up for the Task: Navidkia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan football team head coach Moharram Navidkia says that his players are ready and up for the task in the 2022 AFC Champions League.
Tied on points with Al-Taawoun in Group D and with a negative head-to-head record with them, as things stand the Isfahan based side sits third in the group and has no option but to win this match and hope other results go its way.
“We lost our first game against Al-Duhail, but we will do our utmost best to win this final game against the Qatari side in the group,” said Navidkia.
“We still have a shot at progressing. All of our players are ready to do everything it takes to win that game. Everyone wants to win. We have to care only about how our game against them goes without looking at other teams’ results. We can only look ahead from now on.
“We made a few mistakes in the previous matches and we always look to limit those as much as possible through working on them during training sessions, and we always look to make full use of the chances we get in the best way we can,” he added.
