Iran’s Sadeghzadeh Bags Gold in 2021 Deaflympics Karate
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian karate athlete Milad Sadeghzadeh from Iran claimed a gold medal in the 2021 Deaflympics in Caxias du Sol, Brazil.
He defeated his Ukrainian rival 7-3 in the final match of the -60 kg.
The Deaflympics had initially been scheduled to take place from December 5 to 21 in 2021, but was postponed due to COVID-19 complications.
There are 209 events in 17 sports on the Deaflympics program.
