Paykan eased past Iraq’s Erbil Sport Club in straight sets (25-13, 25-19, 25-14) in the quarter-finals round in Tehran’s Azadi Hall.
Paykan had already defeated Iraq’s South Gas, Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima QminC and Suntory Sunbirds from Japan in the group stage.
The one-week championship features eight teams to vie for top honor and the lone berth on offer to represent Asia in the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship.
