The campaign is being held from May 20-28 in Phuket, Thailand, with this event standing as the zone’s qualifying tournament for the 2022 IWBF World Championships, to be held in November this year.
Team Melli is competing in Pool A with Japan, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia and host Thailand.
The game between Japan and Korea was postponed due to illness within the Japan camp. The match will be held on Saturday.
