Iran’s Men Defeat Malaysia at 2022 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s team defeated Malaysia 82-36 in Pool A of the 2022 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships on Wednesday.
The campaign is being held from May 20-28 in Phuket, Thailand, with this event standing as the zone’s qualifying tournament for the 2022 IWBF World Championships, to be held in November this year.
Iran lost to Australia 47-44 in its first match but earned three successive wins over South Korea 56-50, Japan 62-42 and Thailand 83-65 in its following matches.
Iran will play the Philippines on Thursday.
