Iran’s Men Advances to 2022 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships Semis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s team defeated the Philippines 86-29 in the 2022 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships on Thursday.
The campaign is being held from May 20-28 in Phuket, Thailand, with this event standing as the zone’s qualifying tournament for the 2022 IWBF World Championships, to be held in November this year.
Iran lost to Australia 47-44 in its first match but earned four successive wins over South Korea 56-50, Japan 62-42, Thailand 83-65and Malaysia 82-36 in its following matches.
