Iran’s Men’s Team Comes 2nd in 2022 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s wheelchair basketball team finished in second place in the 2022 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships on Saturday.
Iran was defeated against Australia 56-50 in the competition’s final.
South Korea beat Thailand 68-50 in the bronze medal match.
The Iranian women team also won a bronze medal on Friday.
The campaign was held from May 20-28 in Phuket, Thailand, with this event standing as the zone’s qualifying tournament for the 2022 IWBF World Championships, to be held in November this year.
