"The permanent representatives will meet on Monday morning to study the preparation of the sixth package of sanctions against Russia," the delegation said on Twitter, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier, the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, said that he hoped to agree on a new package of anti-Russian sanctions by the end of May.

The EU summit will be held in Brussels on May 30-31, it will be mainly devoted to Ukraine.
