Iran, Kazakhstan Sign Deals in Tehran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran and Kazakhstan signed nine cooperation documents and memoranda of understanding at the conclusion of a high-profile meeting in the presence of the two countries’ presidents in Tehran.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is in Tehran for an official visit, co-chaired the joint meeting of high-ranking delegations with his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi on Sunday morning.

The two presidents signed a joint statement in the meeting, at the conclusion of which ministers, provincial governors and authorities from the two sides signed nine cooperation documents and memoranda of understanding.

The documents entail cooperation programs between various ministries of the two countries, exchange of industrial experiences, development of bilateral trade, as well as interaction in the oil and gas industies.
