Farnaz Khodamoradi led Iran with 11 points and Syria’s Laila Hasan Agha scored 14 points.

Iran, who came third in Group B after Lebanon and Kazakhstan, will meet its rival on Wednesday in the fifth-place match.

Syria will face Lebanon in the semifinals round.

The competition is being held in Amman, Jordan.
