Iran Too Strong for Kazakhstan at Asian Women’s U-20 Volleyball C’ship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Kazakhstan 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-21) in the 21st Asian Women’s U-20 Volleyball Championship in Pool A on Tuesday.
Iran started the campaign with a 3-0 loss against Thailand on Monday.
Iran will play South Korea on Saturday.
Pool B consists of Japan, China, India, Uzbekistan, and Chinese Taipei.
The competition is being held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan from July 4 to 11.
The top two teams will qualify for the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women’s U-21 World Championship, with the host city to be announced at a later date.
