2022 VNL: Iran Eases Past Slovenia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran eased past Slovenia in straight sets (26-24, 25-14, 25-21) in Week 3 of the 2022 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) on Friday.
Iran’s Amin Esmaeilnezhad scored 14 points, while Slovenia’s Klemen Čebulj bagged 11 points.
Iran sits eighth with 17 points.
Iran, who is scheduled to face Serbia on Saturday, has almost advanced to the competition’s quarterfinals.
The top eight teams will play in final round in Italy from July 20 to 24.
