Amir Hossein Esfandiar scored 17 points for Iran and his teammate Amin Esmaeilnezhad earned 16 points.

Serbia’s Aleksandar Atanasijevic registered 14 points.

Iran had defeated Poland 3-2 and Slovenia 3-0 and lost to Italy 3-1 in its previous matches in Week 3.

The top eight teams will play in the final round in Italy from July 20 to 24.
