Iran Sixth at Asian Women’s U-20 Volleyball C’ship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Chinese Taipei 3-1 (25-21, 25-18, 22-25, 25-11) in the 2022 Asian Women’s U-20 Volleyball Championship fifth-sixth place on Monday.
Iran started the campaign with a 3-0 loss against Thailand in Pool A but defeated Kazakhstan 3-0 in its following match.
The Iranian team lost to South Korea 3-0 but defeated India 3-0.
The competition is being held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, from July 4 to 11.
Holder Japan and China qualified for the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women’s U-21 World Championship as the top two teams.
