According to Iran’s Health Minister Bahram Einollahi, the seventh wave of COVID-19 infections has started in the country.
Some 19 people have died because of the coronavirus disease over the past 24 hours bringing the total deaths to 141,532, Iran's Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
A total of 5,377 new cases of infection with COVID-19 were reported over the past 24 hours, 774 of whom were hospitalized.
