President Urges Envoys to Safeguard Iran’s Values


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – President Ebrahim Raisi called on Iran’s ambassadors to represent and protect the country’s interests and values in other countries.

A group of new Iranian ambassadors met with the president in Tehran on Saturday before taking office in the diplomatic missions of Iran abroad.

Describing the envoys as the representatives of the Islamic establishment, Raisi called on the ambassadors to represent and safeguard the Islamic Republic’s interests and values.

He also urged the ambassadors to work towards the goals by contributing to the economic development of Iran, paying special attention to the affairs of Iranian expatriates, observing and promoting Islamic values, and taking action against any fraudulent economic activity in their mission.
