Nemati claimed his first gold medal in the snatch by lifting 150kg and seized his second gold in the clean and jerk with 190kg. Nemati took the gold medal in total with 340kg.
Abdurashitov Nurbol from Uzbekistan won the silver medal for a total of 316kg.
Kazakhstan’s Zholtay Sanzhar also clinched the bronze with 306kg in total.
The competition began on July 15 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and will run until July 25.
