Iran’s Bagherzadeh Seizes Bronze at World Taekwondo Cadet C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Fatemeh Laki Bagherzadeh from Iran claimed a bronze medal at the World Taekwondo Cadet Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria on Friday.
Bagherzadeh and Despoina Nalmpanti of Greece seized the bronze medals in the girls under-41kg category.
Laylo Khasanova of Uzbekistan took the gold courtesy of a 2-0 win over Lee Yumin of Korea.
A total of 669 taekwondo practitioners from 90 countries are competing in the Championships in Sofia.
