In a message to his Singaporean counterpart Halimah Yacob on Tuesday, Ebrahim Raisi congratulated the people and government of the Southeast Asian country on its National Day.
He also expressed hope that while Iran and Singapore are going to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties, they would be able to promote relations under a future-oriented approach and a sustainable prospect of fulfillment of their mutual interests in all fields.
The National Day of Singapore is celebrated on August 9th, in commemoration of the 1965 Singapore's independence from Malaysia.
