Iran Sweeps China at Asian Men’s U-18 Volleyball Championship Opener

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran swept past China in straight sets (25-21, 25-17, 25-22) in the 14th edition of the Asian Men’s U-18 Volleyball Championship on Tuesday.

Sports

Iran has been drawn in Pool A along with China, Chinese Taipei and Kuwait.

Reza Vakili’s boys will play Kuwait on Wednesday.

Pool B consists of Japan, Thailand, South Korea and India.

The 2022 Asian Men’s U-18 Volleyball Championship started on August 15 at the Azadi Hall in Tehran, Iran and will finish on August 22.

The top four teams will qualify for the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Boys'U-19 World Championship as the AVC representatives.
