Iran Books Place at 2023 Youth World Handball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran advanced to the 2023 Men's Youth World Handball Championship in Croatia.
Iran was held to a 29-29 draw against Bahrain in Group A of the 2022 Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship Friday night and emerged victorious in penalty shootout.
Iran will play Saudi Arabia in the competition’s semifinals.
The venue is Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town, Bahrain.
The top five teams qualify for the world championship.
