In a meeting with President of Bolivia Luis Arce, held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday, Raisi hailed the friendly and developing relations between Iran and Bolivia, and said, "The relations between the two countries are not ordinary political relations and should be developed day by day."

Raisi emphasized that Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian is obliged to activate the joint commission of cooperation between the two countries, and said, "The result of this cooperation should be tangible and operational for both countries."

For his part, the Bolivian president referred to the long history of friendship between Iran and Bolivia, and expressed hope that the declaration of cooperation between Iran and Bolivia, which has been approved by both countries in the past, will lead to favorable results with the continuation and deepening of cooperation.
