Iran to Play Japan at AFC Futsal Asian Cup Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will play Japan in the final match of the 2022 AFC Futsal Asian Cup.
Team Melli defeated Thailand 5-0 on Thursday night at the Saad Al Abdullah Hall in Kuwait City.
Hossein Tayebi, Mohammad Hossein Derakhshani (two goals) and Moslem Oladghobad (two goals) were on target for Iran.
Earlier in the day, Japan defeated Uzbekistan 2-1 in the semifinals.
Iran will play Japan on Saturday in the final match with the aim of winning the title for the 13th time.
