Officials Weigh Plans to Broaden Iran-Poland Economic Ties

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Foreign Ministry officials from Iran and Poland discussed ways to boost economic cooperation between the two countries.

Heading a delegation, Polish Undersecretary of State for Economic and Development Cooperation, Africa and the Middle East Pawel Jablonski held a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy, Mehdi Safari, in Tehran on Monday.

The two officials discussed the bilateral economic issues and cooperation between Tehran and Warsaw in various fields.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister underlined the need for more contacts between the representatives of the private sectors of the two countries and called for the removal of hurdles to cooperation.
