Iran’s Rostamian Wins Silver at 2022 World U-21 Ju-Jitsu Championship

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mohammad Mehdi Rostamian claimed a silver at the 2022 World U-21 Ju-Jitsu Championship.

He defeated Indonesian Lucky Sumitro and Ioannis Marathakis from Greece and lost to Iraqi Sajjad Alaseri and Colombian Camilo Landazuri in the +94kg weight class.

A total of 1,700 fighters from 75 countries have participated in the sporting event.

The 2022 World Jiu-Jitsu Championship started on October 29 and will finish on November 8 in Jiu-Jitsu Arena, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
