Friendly: Iran’s Women’s Football Team Edges Belarus

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s women’s football team edged past Belarus 1-0 in a friendly match on Saturday.

Sports

In the match, held in Tehran’s Ararat Stadium, Melika Motevalli scored Team Melli’s goal just before the break.

Iran will play Belarus once again on Tuesday.

Iran's deputy sports minister, Maryam Kazemipour, also attended the match.
