Iran’s Zahedifar Wins Gold at Asian Girls Chess Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Anahita Zahedifar of Iran finished in the first place in the 2022 Asian Juniors and Girls Chess Championships.
She won the gold medal in rapid championship.
The tournament brought 52 chess players from 11 countries together.
The Asian Girls Junior Championship was a 9-round Swiss tournament that took place in Tagaytay City, Philippines.
The competition was held from November 17 to 26 at the Knights Templar Hotel.
