Iran Victorious over Colombia at 2022 IBSA Goalball World Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran started the 2022 IBSA Goalball World Championships on Friday on high note.
Team Melli defeated Colombia 15-5.
This tournament is the first chance to lock up spots in the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, with the top two men’s and women’s teams earning their berths.
Iran has been drawn in Group D along with China, Lithuania, Ukraine, the US, Egypt, Mexico and Colombia.
The competition is being held in Matosinhos, Portugal from December 7 to 16.
